9news reported that there was a fatal hit-and-run accident on Parker Road. The accident happened on the eastbound lanes of Parker Road, just west of East Mississippi Avenue. The pedestrian was crossing the road when a car struck and killed her. The pedestrian was a woman who was said to be crossing the street at a non designated area to get to a bus stop. Parker Road was closed down for police investigation and clean up of the debris. The woman was 61-years-old. Police found a 2002 Buick Rendezvous not to far from the accident. This is believed to be the car in question of the accident. No arrests have been made at this time.
