Two employes of the Denver broncos have been arrested for DUI in the past month. Matt Russell and Tom Heckert are team executives and both face drinking and driving charges as well as serious consequences from the NFL. Matt Russell, Denver Broncos’ director of player personnel, was arrested for DUI Saturday night after allegedly hitting two cars in Summit County one of them being a Breckenridge police car. According to Colorado State Patrol, Russell first ran into a car in Frisco then few minutes later he rear-ended a police car as he approached Breckenridge injuring the officer. Russell faces charges of driving under the influence, having an open container of alcohol in his car, careless driving resulting in injury and failure to display proof of insurance. Heckert, 45, was stopped by police June 11 near South Chambers Road and East Main Street in Parker for weaving out of his lane. He blew a .246 breath-alcohol content on a field breathalyzer and was arrested for a DUI. the legal limit in Colorado is .08. or below.
